My New Source for Humility and Forgiveness

In an email to a friend, I asked a question. I never received a reply.

As feelings of disappointment and irritation subsided, I had this thought: I have done the same thing myself.

I have this thought a lot more often these days. Maybe it's a sign that I'm getting wiser.

It certainly inspires feelings of humility. I may have certain strengths, but I struggle with the same life issues that everyone else does.

Which makes it easier to forgive.

I have done the same thing myself. It keeps me from becoming critical over petty annoyances, which does wonders for my relationships....

I smiled reading this (am still smiling), as I too have these same thought, a LOT lately.

"I have done the same thing."

Yes. Their is an ever increasing feeling in me of great compassion toward and understanding of humanity. I think the more honest we are with ourselves, the less we judge others. There is a certain calm freedom in this. A letting go.

I am far from perfect, so how I can possibly expect others to be TOTALLY 100% perfect for ME!! LOL!

Aah, life is good when we let go.

Thank you. I've so enjoyed you on twitter.

Robin :)
