I'll say up front that I have no problem with comics who use foul language, as long as they don't overdo it and their material is genuinely funny. I was in the Army for 20 years, after all. My close friends all know that sometimes my language can be just as colorful as the next guy's. But four-letter words aren't what make a comedian funny.
I particularly enjoy "clean comics," because their stuff has to stand on its own. No off-color language to seem "real," spice things up and surprise the audience. Here's George Casey...
In another post, I featured another really funny "clean comic," Jeanne Robertson - If you're in the mood for more laughs, check her out!
