Like your messsages Denny. As for "Patience," in my mind this is one trait that we (contemporary culture) tend to leave for our ancestors (i.e., posterity). We ignore our values in our educational system to our peril and I might think patience to be a part of that effort. Ancestral hunting, rich historic traditions and customs (and not all bad), and biological travel (as opposed to mechanical)have subtly altered our perceptions of much. This includes environmental rhythms that have been lost in a modern cadence (to a peril that may yet come). Ignorance of patience let alone behaviorial traits that in olden times were critical for survival. Definitely I would not harken back to prehistoric times, yet there is much learned that has been cast in stone and passed down. Yup, I spent enough time in a church waiting on religion, motionless next to a tree waiting wild game, or even stationary on a baseball field watching endless pitches to a home plate. I sure am not saying I know the art because I have enough peculiarities "to go," but we would all do well not to forget that acronyms starting with AD have much in common and perhaps more than a little truth if we look in the mirror.
