Will - The Awesome Power of the Human Brain

Let's talk about your potential for self-development. What challenges for personal improvement have you considered? You know that changing the way you do something, regardless of the benefits, is rarely easy. So, are you up to it? Can you learn that skill? Can you break that habit? Can you improve that behavior pattern?

First, check out this guy. His name is Wim Hof, and he runs practically naked and barefoot outdoors in the snow in sub-zero temperatures for over an hour...with no ill effects. He has learned how to command his body to heat up. You really must watch this amazing video...



Why would anyone try to learn how to do such a thing? Wim Hof did. And if he could teach himself to do that, anyone could. And if someone could do that, what else is possible? Few are seeking the answers, because it's too far outside the box. This is unexplored territory.

So here's my opinion about your potential for self-development. If Wim Hof could learn to control his own body temperature, what's possible for you? The answer: almost anything. 

What other, far less amazing but highly beneficial behavior patterns could you ingrain?

I saw the full documentary on Wim on the Discovery Channel. He has amazing brain power. If you get the opportunity to watch the whole documentary on him, make it a point to watch it.
